Birthworker Circle: Guest Speaker Jodie Gonzalez,LCSW

After listening to the community needs at our last circle we've invited Jodie Gonzalez, LCSW to join us this month. Jodie is working on a training/workshop addressing grief, secondary trauma and self care. Please bring your ideas on the type of support that would be most meaningful for you and your clients. Jodie is co-founder of JAH Grief Services, LLC, which offers grief support to those who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. She holds a masters degree from the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston. As a licensed clinical social worker in Texas, she spent almost ten years working as a hospital and hospice social worker, and four years as the director of community education for a non-profit bereavement center in Houston.
