About the event
From inductions of labor, unplanned cesarean sections, quick (or loooooong) labors, and a slew of other circumstances, this session is designed to prepare you for unplanned events, and answer any questions you may have. This course will include discussion of:
Tools that can be used for promoting and managing labor
What to expect from a typical hospital protocol
Physiological circumstances that may affect your labor (including but not limited to discussion of pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, preterm water breaking, placental concerns, and position of the baby, among others)
Pain relief options
Method of delivery, including vaginal, c-section, and use of forceps
