This class is an experiential, interactive course emphasizing our innate knowledge of how to give birth and the importance of mental and emotional aspects of birthing. Classes are designed to thoroughly prepare you for your birth, whether that's at home, the hospital, or birth center. The course includes:
...instruction on basic labor vocabulary to help demystify “hospital speak.” Past participants have reported that one of their favorite outcomes from the class is they are now TALKING about their upcoming labor and birth as couple!
...discussion of what to expect IN labor for the birthing person and with what to expect AT labor for the partner.
...practical experience with coping techniques for the laboring parent and labor support for partners. You'll leave knowing what to do to support your loved one through labor, and when and how to do it.
