About the event

Presenting a thoughtfully curated prenatal yoga class for the pregnant person who wants to feel empowered, loved, connected and gentle in their approach to pregnancy and experience of childbirth.

Led by Expectful prenatal yoga and meditation guide, Kristen Hanna will flow through comprehensive, gentle poses, creating fluidity, circulation and grace in the changing body while relieving common pregnancy discomforts- low back aches, hip alignment, stressed shoulders and swollen feet.

She will guide birth preparation meditations incorporating breathwork principles & techniques to seal the energy.

Meditation is used to teach self regulation, patience and mindfulness. Self regulation aids in relaxation, alleviating fear & shortness of breath during birth which is linked to decreased birthing time and less likelihood of tearing, while enhancing and increasing pleasure & enjoyment. She takes each birther on a journey with the collective to envision and claim their desired birth. The mind is powerful in its ability to create that which it meditates on.

After the class, we will have time to spend together connecting and communing.

Cost is $200 for public and $150 for Heart of Houston clients and Whole Heart Collective Members.
